Tierschutzverein Unna e.V. is a volunteer animal welfare organization based in Unna, Germany. Since 1957, it has worked to improve the lives of free-roaming cats and animals in need, with the goal of helping every cat live without suffering. Its work extends beyond domestic and farm animals to include wildlife living freely in the local environment.
The association offers animal placement and cat-care services, and supports cats in urgent need. It also runs a pigeon welfare project: after years of advocacy, Unna’s first pigeon house opened in 2025 on the roof of the Schnückel parking garage.
