TTC 1979 Hetzerath e.V. is a community table tennis club based in Erkelenz-Hetzerath, Germany. Founded in 1979, it has more than four decades of history, shaped by both long-standing members and newcomers. The club’s purpose is to foster and promote table tennis and similar sports, without economic, political, or religious objectives.

Players of all backgrounds are welcome to attend open training sessions. Free training takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:00 p.m. in the Hetzerath multi-purpose hall. A system-training session is held on Mondays at 7:00 p.m. in Houverath; places are limited, so advance registration is required. The club currently fields five men’s teams, competing from the 3rd District Class through the 1st District League. Although it has no youth team at present, young players are invited to train with the club.

League matches are played at the multi-purpose halls in Hetzerath and Houverath, and spectators are welcome. Fixtures are available through myTischtennis.de. As a charitable association, TTC 1979 Hetzerath accepts donations and can provide donation receipts.
