Tubidy is an online service for converting YouTube videos into downloadable MP3 audio or MP4 video files. It is designed for people who want to access selected music, videos, tutorials, and other content offline. Users can search by title, artist, or topic, or paste a YouTube link, then choose a format and available quality before downloading. The site describes its service as free, requiring no registration or subscription, and usable on smartphones, tablets, and computers across major operating systems and browsers.

Tubidy promotes a straightforward interface, fast conversion, and options to balance file quality with storage needs. Its stated purpose is to help users build personal media collections, listen or watch without an internet connection, and reduce repeated mobile data use. The site also encourages responsible use: users should download only content they are authorized to use, respect copyright and platform terms, and avoid unauthorized redistribution or commercial use. Actual download availability and permitted use may depend on the content and applicable rules.
