Tuggeranong Arts Centre is a community arts centre in Greenway, serving Tuggeranong and Canberra’s south. It presents a varied program of exhibitions, live events, workshops, classes, dance, visual art, music and theatre, offering opportunities for people of different ages to experience and take part in creative activities. Its programs include Fresh Funk, Messengers, Turn Up Tuggers and Woden Arts, alongside activities such as Art Play for Curious Adults.
The centre also shares arts news, promotes opportunities and provides a venue for hire. Visitors can attend exhibitions and events, join workshops and classes, or explore the centre’s program of performances and creative experiences. Open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm, Tuggeranong Arts Centre welcomes the community at 137 Reed Street, Greenway.
The organisation acknowledges the Ngunnawal people as traditional custodians and recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who gather on and call Canberra home. It also invites public support through donations, volunteering and partnerships
