TuKoRes

TuKoRes, formally Turun Korkeakoulujen Reserviläiset ry (Åbo Högskolereservister rf), is a student association focused on national defence skills and commitment among people studying at higher education institutions in Turku. It operates under the Student Reserve Officers’ District and the Finnish Reserve Officers’ Federation, and welcomes students from Turku’s universities and other higher education institutions.

The association offers an active programme centred on shooting, physical exercise and social activities. Members can take part in regular pistol shooting sessions, including small-calibre pistol and practical pistol and PCC activities, as well as running group outings. TuKoRes also organises excursions to other student cities and shares upcoming events through its activity calendar. Its website provides practical resources, including shooting range instructions and answers to questions about firearm permits, alongside information about membership, the board and association documents. TuKoRes offers branded overall patches and invites students to join its community. Through its varied events and training opportunities, the association gives members ways to develop relevant skills, stay active and connect with other students interested in national defence.
