Tulkkauspalvelu MV-R provides professional sign-language and communication interpreting for people with speech disabilities. Led by interpreter Mia Vähä-Ruka, the business serves clients in Satakunta, Uusikaupunki, Laitila, Hämeenkyrö and Sastamala, and also offers interpreting abroad. Its customer-focused approach aims to support equal participation in everyday situations and help people communicate, understand others and be understood.

For clients with speech disabilities, interpreting is tailored to individual needs and communication methods. The service is intended for people who have difficulty expressing themselves through speech or understanding spoken language, and who can communicate their wishes with interpreting support and use a means of communication.

Mia has worked as a sign-language interpreter since 1994. She holds a Bachelor of Social Services degree with a focus on social services for special groups, completed at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, and a vocational qualification in interpreting for people with speech disabilities. After experience as both a freelancer and an employee, she now operates independently.
