The TulSun Foundation was created in 2002 as a corporate and social responsibility department in the international company “ControlPay”. The founder of the company Karel Kinds realized all economic and cultural disagreements that exist between Ukraine and the Netherland, and founded a company-oriented policy that focused on corporate and social responsibility. With the special goal for helping children. The name of the Fund comes from the reduction of two words – tulip and sunflower, as traditional floral symbols of the Netherlands and Ukraine. We symbolically connect two nation with one aim of improving the lives of children with disabilities. We are not the state organization. We are guiding only by our readiness and desire to help children and orphanages. We strive to involve the companies to social and corporate responsibility. About TulSun Foundation
The TulSun Foundation is a charitable organization that has been making a positive impact on the lives of children for over 7 years. Founded as a social responsibility department of the global freight audit company, ControlPay, the foundation has since become an independent charity focused on helping orphans and children with disabilities in Ukraine. With no hidden political, governmental, or religious affiliations, the TulSun Foundation is dedicated solely to improving the lives of children in need.
Supported by world corporations like ACER Ukraine, GlobalLogic, PUMA, Premier Palace Hotel, as well as local businesses and volunteers, the foundation provides long-term and tangible assistance in all areas of children's lives. Currently, the TulSun Foundation cares for almost 350 children from six social institutions, offering them monthly support and constant care. By combining the Dutch tulip and the Ukrainian sunflower as its symbols, the TulSun Foundation represents the unity of two countries working together to bring happiness and positive changes to the lives of Ukrainian children.
