Tumbarumba & District Garden Club presents the Tumbarumba Spring Flower Festival, a community event celebrating spring, gardening and creativity in the Snowy Valleys. Set among rolling hills and cool-climate gardens, the festival invites visitors to explore up to ten distinctive open gardens, meet local growers and enjoy views towards the Snowy Mountains. The 2026 event takes place on 24 and 25 October, with a theme of “Opposites” reflected in its creative competitions and displays.

Festival highlights include a flower show, art and photography competitions, sculpture, and a mini quilt competition introduced in 2026. Entries are welcomed from people of all ages and skill levels, with dedicated student photography categories and strong participation from local schools. Visitors can also discover creative installations, purchase plants and enjoy family-friendly activities. Garden and stadium admission is available through all-event or individual-entry tickets; children aged 16 and under enter free when accompanied by an adult. Proceeds from entry fees support local charities.
