Tumeke Studio is an innovative design studio focused on creating interactive systems and dynamic worlds, deeply rooted in kaupapa Māori principles. At the heart of Tumeke is a proprietary platform that enhances large-scale simulations by managing logic, behavior, and contextual memory. This platform goes beyond traditional game engines, providing a relational object management system that supports rich storytelling and player engagement.
The studio's flagship project, Errata, is a compelling survival RPG set in a world shaped by past mistakes and cultural narratives. Players navigate a post-collapse landscape, interacting with various factions that reflect diverse interpretations of history and values. The game challenges players to choose between cooperation and dominance, embodying the progressive ideals of manaakitanga.
Tumeke Studio strives to redefine game design by prioritizing cultural authenticity and emotional resonance, ensuring that technology serves to enhance human experience and storytelling. Engaging with Tumeke means entering a space where the future of digital tools is shaped by inclusive and meaningful design.
