Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Tumorzentren e.V.

The Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutscher Tumorzentren e.V. (ADT) is a German network focused on improving the quality, transparency, and coordination of care for people with cancer. Bringing together stakeholders in oncology, the association supports collaboration among research and healthcare professionals and promotes the use of routine care data to address practical questions about cancer treatment and services.

ADT advises research and care teams throughout project development, including on data sources, data quality and suitability, project partnerships, data-use applications, and data management. It also coordinates projects and supports interdisciplinary analysis of oncology data. Its work includes nationwide oncology quality conferences, where register-based findings on treatment pathways, therapy decisions, and guideline implementation are discussed with clinical experts.

The association provides education in cancer registration and tumor documentation, as well as training in analyzing cancer registry data with the R software. It organizes professional events, publishes research and conference contributions, and supports register-based research and studies. Through these activities, ADT connects expertise, data, and practice to strengthen evidence-informed oncology care and research.
