Tuovisten sukuseura

Tuovisten Sukuseura is a Finnish family association dedicated to exploring and preserving the history and traditions of the Tuovinen family, whose roots are in Savo and whose branches have spread across Finland. Founded in 2006, the association connects family members and encourages a shared sense of heritage through research, events and publications.

Its activities include family gatherings, annual meetings, excursions and other opportunities for relatives to meet. The association supports both traditional genealogy and DNA-based family research, collects and archives information about the family, and shares its findings with members. It is also working to compile research into a shared family register and an updated family book.

The association’s website provides information about Tuovinen history, family research, past gatherings and current activities, along with photographs and news. Members can join the association, participate in events and access family-related publications and products, including a family book and Tuovinen-themed jewellery. The association welcomes Tuovinen family members interested in contributing to its work and keeping in touch with relatives.
