Turf Projects, founded in 2013 by Croydon locals, is a unique and vibrant contemporary art space in Croydon. As the first entirely artist-run art space in the borough, Turf is dedicated to supporting and showcasing local and national artists. Located in Croydon's Whitgift Shopping Centre, Turf offers free exhibitions and creative workshops for artists of all skill levels.

They also provide affordable artist studios and host two collectives: MOSS, a group of local learning disabled artists, and Art Press, a collective of Croydon artists aged 13-18. Additionally, Turf offers a community project space that is free for use by Croydon locals. Turf's support and residency program for Croydon School of Art and BRIT school students, along with paid opportunities for artists through exhibitions, workshops, and commissions, further exemplify their dedication to promoting artistic talent.
