Turning Pointe School of Dance is a premier Christian dance school located in Holland, Michigan. As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all contributions to Turning Pointe School of Dance are tax-deductible. Our mission is to prepare dancers in both body and spirit to glorify God through artistic excellence.

At Turning Pointe School of Dance, we go beyond teaching technique and mastery of dance. Our focus is on nurturing the hearts and minds of our students. We believe in their spiritual and mental preparation.

By recognizing that their ability to dance comes from a loving Creator, our students often experience a profound turning pointe. Dance transforms from a self-serving pursuit to a way of giving back and becoming a message bearer. We offer two main divisions of classes.

The Recreational Division provides once-a-week classes in ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, and hip-hop. These classes begin with an age-appropriate devotion and foster fundamental skills, class etiquette, and self-discipline in a supportive and fun, Christian environment. Students delight in performing a dance for parents in November and participate in the End of Year Showcase.

For dancers seeking a pre-professional training setting, our Training Division is the perfect fit. This program focuses on technique, alignment, strength, discipline, and healthy body image. Students aged 7 and older benefit from positive and wholesome training while nurturing their faith walk.

This division also offers performance and outreach opportunities. To impact our community, Turning Pointe School of Dance collaborates with various agencies, churches, and local businesses. Our dancers have the chance to participate in outreach activities throughout the year, including Worship Impact Night, church events, concerts, and more.
