The Turtle Hospital, a dedicated non-profit organization located in the Florida Keys, specializes in the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of endangered sea turtles. Operating as a fully functioning veterinary hospital, it provides essential medical care for sick and injured turtles, catering to various species and conditions. The facility, housed in the former Hidden Harbor Motel, includes living quarters for rehabilitation staff and storage for medical supplies.

The Turtle Hospital not only focuses on direct animal care but also emphasizes public education through outreach programs and collaborations with local schools. Their mission extends to conducting research that supports sea turtle conservation and advocating for cleaner environments through legislative efforts. Visitors can engage with the turtles, learn about their rehabilitation process, and discover ways to contribute through adoptions, donations, and memberships. The organization is entirely supported by community generosity, making every effort critical for the preservation of these majestic sea creatures. Join their mission to help make a difference in the lives of sea turtles.
