Turtle Island Tales

Turtle Island Tales is a family-focused brand that shares stories and practical resources for Native families with young children. Its aim is to support children’s health in body, mind, and spirit through inspiring media, recipes, games, activities, and parenting help. The site introduces viewers to Igmu the Bobcat and its first film, “Igmu’s Tipi Dream,” in which Igmu learns from his grandmother about traditional ways, feeling safe, and the meaning of home.

Alongside its videos, Turtle Island Tales offers recipes designed to make time at home more enjoyable, as well as activities that encourage families to stay active and have fun. Visitors can explore these materials on the site and sign up to receive recipes, games, and other resources. The brand also invites its community to follow it on Instagram. Turtle Island Tales describes its content as informational and educational, and advises families to consult a doctor or other qualified health professional for medical guidance.
