Turtle Rescue League, located in Southbridge, MA, is a dedicated non-profit organization and a licensed native turtle rehabilitation clinic. Our mission is to keep turtles a part of the future, not a thing of the past. Since our establishment in 2010, we have been relentlessly working towards this goal through our four main programs: rehabilitation, incubation, conservation, and education.

We specialize in providing medical treatment and care for injured or sick native turtles. Each year, we admit hundreds of turtles, nursing them back to health and ultimately releasing them back into their natural habitats. In addition, we incubate eggs recovered from unsafe locations or departed mothers, ensuring the preservation of their species by introducing healthy hatchlings into the wetlands.

Besides our rehabilitation efforts, we offer engaging educational classes tailored to all age groups. Our outreach extends to schools, libraries, conventions, and more, where we educate the public about the importance of native turtles and responsible pet turtle ownership. Our facility, nestled in a scenic valley in Southbridge, is home to over 200 turtles, with a second building under construction for our permanent residents.

We are open 24/7 for turtle injuries and provide pet turtle assistance from Monday to Friday (appointments required). Join us in our mission to protect and conserve these fascinating creatures. Donate today and make a difference in the lives of these unique and deserving turtles.

Together, we can ensure a brighter future for them
