TIA is a student-led organisation registered under Jabatan Pendaftaran Pertubuhan Malaysia (JPPM). Ever since our establishment in March 2020 to combat pandemic-related issues such as disrupted classes, TIA has been upholding SDG 4 – ‘Quality Education’ with the utmost earnestness and integrity. Our organisation is dedicated to providing free assistance to Form 5 students in their SPM preparation, addressing the challenges arising from disrupted classes and limited access to affordable tuition options. In addition to our core mission, we have and are currently venturing into other educational-themed side projects, expanding our impact and outreach.

About Tutors In Action
Tutors in Action Malaysia is a brand dedicated to helping students who are struggling with their academics, particularly during challenging times like the lockdown period. With the disruption of classes and the lack of access to affordable tuition, we aim to provide one-to-one guidance to SPM students, enabling them to achieve their best. As a team of Malaysian youths, we are committed to supporting students in their educational journey.
Tutees can sign up for as many subjects as they wish, and our qualified tutors, who are SPM graduates with a minimum grade of A-, deliver online lessons based on the subjects and chapters chosen. The commitment period for both tutors and tutees is a minimum of 4 lessons, after which they can choose to continue or leave. If a tutor or tutee leaves, we will find a new pair for them.
Resources are readily available for most SPM subjects, ensuring that students have the necessary materials for their lessons. The duration and frequency of lessons can be tailored to the needs of both the tutor and tutee, typically lasting 1 to 2 hours per week.
