Twin Cities Blind Sailing

Twin Cities Blind Sailing connects blind and visually impaired sailors with sighted guides, helping participants learn sailing skills and take part in the sport. The organization offers several programs for sailors with different interests and experience levels. Its Cruising Group and Youth Program introduce participants to sailing and the various aspects of operating a boat, with activities held at the Minneapolis Sailing Center.

The Racing Group teaches sailors how to race and provides opportunities to travel to regattas and clinics through sessions at Wayzata Sailing. In the Solo Sailing program, a blind or visually impaired sailor sails independently while a sighted guide accompanies them in a separate boat; this program is based at Lake Harriet Yacht Club. Twin Cities Blind Sailing also shares educational resources, including a guide to basic sailing terms, skills, and lesson plans.

Supporters can contribute through donations, and the organization offers branded shirts and gaiters for purchase. Seasonal updates, registration information, reports, and event news are shared through its website and community activities
