Twisted Branch Aussie Ranch is a dedicated nonprofit dog rescue and sanctuary located in the picturesque Cedar Creek Lake area of East Texas. Founded in 2011, the organization specializes in rescuing and rehabilitating Australian Shepherds and other herding breeds, focusing primarily on providing a lifelong sanctuary for dogs who cannot be adopted for various reasons. The Ranch emphasizes a holistic approach to dog care, treating each dog as a family member, ensuring they receive positive reinforcement training and deep socialization in a nurturing home environment.

While Twisted Branch Aussie Ranch occasionally has dogs available for adoption, their primary mission is to maintain a safe, loving space for their permanent residents, including dogs with unique needs and histories. From quarantine facilities for newcomers to heartfelt success stories of past residents, the Ranch thrives on the support of dog lovers who contribute to their mission. With a commitment to giving misunderstood dogs a second chance, Twisted Branch Aussie Ranch stands out as a beacon of hope for both dogs and their potential families.
