About Tybee Lighthouse
Welcome to Tybee Lighthouse, a brand that brings you a piece of Georgia's rich history. As part of the Tybee Island Historical Society, our mission is to preserve and promote the cultural heritage of Tybee Island. At Tybee Lighthouse, we offer specialty plates that not only showcase your love for this beautiful island but also contribute to its conservation.
Our plates come with a one-time manufacturing fee of $25. 00 and an annual registration fee of $20. 00.
In addition, there is an annual special tag fee of $35. 00, and if applicable, an ad valorem tax. When you choose our plates, you are not only supporting the preservation efforts of Tybee Island Historical Society but also the local community.
A portion of the fees collected, including the manufacturing fee and specialty tag fee, go towards the General Fund and the sponsoring agency, fund, or non-profit. Renewing annually costs $55. 00, which includes the annual license reg.
