TY_Board is a Chinese-language online community centered on meteorology, climate, and the natural world. Its discussion forum brings together members interested in tropical cyclones, weather forecasting, severe weather, climate circulation, earthquakes, volcanoes, astronomy, geography, and environmental events. Dedicated sections support real-time tracking of storms and weather conditions, forecast discussion, historical cyclone reviews, research, data sharing, and analysis of weather systems. Members can also ask questions about meteorology or using the forum, and browse original tutorials, reference material, and a forum magazine.

Beyond scientific and weather-focused topics, TY_Board hosts conversations about education, everyday life, sports, photography, urban development, and transportation. The site provides community features including user registration, topic discussions, rankings, announcements, and mobile access. Its boards are organized and moderated by volunteer administrators and section moderators, with private areas available for some discussions. With thousands of registered members and a substantial archive of posts, TY_Board serves as a collaborative space for sharing observations, expertise, resources, and interests related to weather and beyond.
