Ty Caredig

Ty Caredig Ltd is a children’s care provider based in Taff’s Well, Wales, supporting children and young people who experience social, emotional or behavioural challenges, including difficult or aggressive behaviour. Its approach places young people and staff at the centre of its work, with a focus on care, protection and helping each young person develop their potential.

The organisation offers therapeutic residential care, supported living and educational support. Its therapeutic model aims to help young people address the effects of past trauma, build confidence and move towards a more positive future. Ty Caredig also supports those who have become disengaged from full-time education through a partnership learning strategy, recognising that young people are better placed to learn when they feel cared for and supported.

Alongside its services for young people, Ty Caredig describes staff wellbeing as part of its commitment to quality care and has announced plans for psychological, therapeutic and wellbeing support for staff and service users.
