Tyler Shields is a renowned brand known for its captivating and thought-provoking fine art photography. Often referred to as the Andy Warhol of his generation, Shields has gained recognition for his portfolio that pushes boundaries and challenges societal norms. His work delves into themes such as indulgence, silhouettes, the dark side of glamour, fairytale provocations, historical fiction, suspense, and the submerged realm of paint.
From his iconic Mouthful series to his awe-inspiring cinematographic practice, Shields' images captivate viewers by playing with the concepts of the gaze and power structures. His hyper-realistic photographs showcase his talent for capturing raw emotions and capturing the essence of his subjects. Having started his photography career at a young age, Shields quickly gained success, becoming the youngest living artist ever to be featured in an auction at Sotheby's.
His exhibitions draw record-breaking attendance globally, and his limited edition prints are highly coveted, with only three images ever made in each available size. Shields has also collaborated with numerous celebrities, with his portfolio featuring Hollywood legends like Bruce Willis and industry titans like Elon Musk. He broke the internet with his early work, capturing young A-list stars in daring and unconventional poses.
