Tyler's Redemption Place

Tyler’s Redemption Place is a recovery community organization in Akron, Ohio, supporting individuals, families, and veterans affected by substance use. Its approach brings people together through peer support, recovery meetings, wellness programs, faith, and community connection, helping participants build lasting recovery at every stage. Services include family and veterans support, drop-in programs, and anti-stigma training, alongside opportunities to volunteer or lead a group.

The organization’s welcoming spaces complement recovery with wellness experiences designed to help people rest, reset, and reconnect. Offerings include a salt cave, sauna and cold plunge, fitness, and personal growth and faith resources. Tyler’s Redemption Place also hosts meetings, special events, workshops, fundraisers, and guest speakers, giving community members ways to learn, connect, and share their experiences.

Previously known as Hope United, Tyler’s Redemption Place describes recovery as a shared journey. It is certified as a Peer Run Organization and a National Recovery Community Organization. Donations help make its programs and services possible, while its newsletter shares recovery stories, events, resources, and community updates.
