About U-TOUCH
U-TOUCH, short for Universal Technology Outreach Community Hubs, is a brand that aims to bridge the digital divide and empower communities through technology. Founded in 2010, U-TOUCH strives to improve youth education and socio-economic transformation by providing digital skills and resources. With a focus on grassroots initiatives, U-TOUCH collaborates with volunteers and partners from around the world to create innovative solutions to socio-economic challenges.
U-TOUCH offers various programs to support different groups within the community. Their Women/Girls Empowerment program aims to boost economic and educational participation for vulnerable women and girls living in extreme poverty. The Sponsored Students program provides support to students throughout their education by removing barriers and encouraging personal growth.
Additionally, their Information Communications and Technology program gives youth access to the internet and digital technologies, equipping them with digital skills for better employment and entrepreneurial opportunities. Through their efforts, U-TOUCH has made a significant impact. Since 2012, over 6,000 U-TOUCH students have graduated, finding employment and becoming entrepreneurs.
This has created numerous job opportunities, supported women and children, and contributed to socio-economic development in Uganda. To support the cause, you can donate to U-TOUCH and give a young person the gift of education. Alternatively, you can volunteer or partner with U-TOUCH and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
By joining the U-TOUCH community, you can help fortify families and communities, advancing education and economic empowerment in disadvantaged regions
