UKF is a registered not for profit organization, centered on Education, Health Care and Social Welfare of children and families from disadvantaged backgrounds, and we have a mission to save Nigeria and indeed the World, One Child, One Heart, and One Smile at a time, by breaching the gap between the ‘Haves’ and ‘Have-not’. We run weekly School and Mobile Library activities, Monthly Hospital and Orphanage visits, Annual Summer Camp and Back-To-School Programs and are looking for volunteers like you to get involved for a few hours, whenever it suits YOU or your Organization! Individuals or a group of staff from interested organizations can… • give a few hours of their time weekly, to create a fun and interactive atmosphere, reading exciting books to our kids in our various libraries. • Spend quality fun, loving and exciting time with children of various orphanages who will cherish your time and love to have a sense of belonging like you and me. • Join us in our monthly hospital visits to distribute relief materials to patients and their loved ones, and... • contribute time, energy and resources towards our Back to school flagship program, by reaching out to more than 40 schools, distributing over 15,000 bag packs annually. About United for Kids Foundation
United for Kids Foundation (UKF) is a volunteer-led non-profit organization that is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in need. Registered as an incorporated trustees' entity in Nigeria, UKF also holds tax-exempt nonprofit status in the United Kingdom and the United States. Our mission is to alleviate poverty, sickness, and illiteracy among the less fortunate, sick, and orphaned children by providing them with the necessary tools and resources.
Founded in 2002, UKF started as a way for fortunate Nigerians to help those in need. Today, we provide literacy lessons to over 600 children every week through our in-school and mobile library programs. With the vision of healing Nigeria and the world, one child, one heart, and one smile at a time, we strive to ensure that every child has access to a quality education. Our programs are designed to support low-income youth, and we rely on donations, fundraising events, and the support of our network to make a sustainable impact.
