About UaBio
UABIO is a non-profit public association that brings together businesses and experts to promote the development of bioenergy in Ukraine. They are dedicated to advancing the use of biomass for heat and electricity production, as well as various other bioenergy solutions. Their extensive range of projects includes initiatives for the cultivation of energy crops, the production of liquid biofuels, and the utilization of biogas and biomethane.
UABIO has made significant contributions to reducing Ukraine's reliance on traditional energy sources, with bioenergy replacing 5. 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas and preventing the release of 10. 4 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere in 2020 alone.
