Since its inception in 2016, UAnimals has been at the forefront of advocating for humane treatment of animals and combating their exploitation and abuse. The organization has made significant strides, including banning traveling circuses with animals in over thirty cities and persuading numerous designers to abandon the use of natural fur. UAnimals has also played a crucial role in the enactment of several important animal protection laws.

In response to the full-scale war, their efforts have shifted towards rescuing animals from conflict zones. UAnimals engages in various charitable activities, such as animal evacuation, sterilization, and volunteering, as well as public advocacy and legislative initiatives. They run impactful projects like a blood donor platform and the Animalism by UAnimals charity brand store.

The organization organizes large-scale events like the All-Ukrainian Animal Rights March and promotes humane education. UAnimals remains committed to raising awareness and fostering a compassionate society where animals are treated with respect and dignity.
