About UAWCPAL
اتحاد لجان العمل الزراعي is an independent agricultural development institution in Palestine. Established in 1986 by a group of agricultural engineers, it is one of the largest agricultural development organizations in the country. Registered with the Palestinian Ministry of Interior according to the Palestinian Law of Associations and Non-Governmental Institutions, اتحاد لجان العمل الزراعي works on prioritizing farmers' needs and implementing programs and community activities through agricultural committees in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Their mission is to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and empower farmers in Palestine, ensuring their rights and sustainable management of resources. اتحاد لجان العمل الزراعي implements various projects and programs focused on land development, water harvesting, capacity building, enhancing rural women's livelihoods, legal awareness, emergency response, and other agricultural development initiatives. As a recognized national and international development organization, they work collaboratively with Palestinian, Arab, and international organizations to support and protect the rights of Palestinian farmers
