The UBC Diploma in Accounting Student Club (UBC DAPSC) is a student-led community for students in the University of British Columbia’s Diploma in Accounting Program. Based at UBC Sauder School of Business in Vancouver, the club helps members navigate accounting careers, recruiting, and the challenges of job searching alongside peers who understand the experience.
UBC DAPSC connects students with employers through firm events, information sessions, and coffee chats. These opportunities include organizations ranging from Big Four and national firms to industry employers, and are scheduled around key recruiting periods. The club also hosts social events where students can build relationships and support one another.
For career preparation, UBC DAPSC shares resources on resumes and cover letters, accounting job-search platforms, and ways to get involved in clubs and leadership roles. Its aim is to help students learn about the industry, develop professional connections, and apply for opportunities with greater confidence. Students can explore events, meet the team, learn about sponsors, and find additional career resources through the club.
