Uchiko Austin

Uchiko is a modern Japanese restaurant concept from Hai Hospitality and the offspring of Uchi, Chef Tyson Cole’s original non-traditional Japanese restaurant. It builds on Uchi’s fresh, clean flavors with a distinctive emphasis on smoke and char. The menu features sushi and contemporary Japanese dishes, including nigiri, crudo, seafood, vegetables, and hot-rock preparations such as wagyu beef cooked with Japanese river rock. Guests can also enjoy seasonal tastings and selections designed to pair with wine.

Uchiko welcomes diners for dinner and offers a daily happy hour. At its Austin location, guests can make reservations or walk in, with patio seating available when weather permits. The restaurant also provides private dining for gatherings ranging from smaller groups to larger events, including corporate functions, birthdays, and other special occasions. Catering and offsite inquiries are welcomed, and takeout is available for online ordering.
