Ucip Liban

The Catholic Press Union - Lebanon, also known as OCIP, is a prominent organization dedicated to fostering communication and cooperation among Catholic media entities in Lebanon. With a strong focus on the principles of truth and integrity, OCIP aims to enhance the dissemination of Catholic values and promote a culture of coexistence within society. The Union engages in various activities, including hosting seminars, workshops, and exhibitions like the Christian Media Exhibition, which showcases religious publications and media productions.

OCIP also plays a vital role in advocating for respect and protection of Christian symbols, as highlighted by its responses to provocative incidents, such as the affronts during the Paris Olympics. The organization emphasizes the necessity of maintaining Lebanon as a beacon of peace and coexistence, especially in light of current social challenges. By nurturing collaboration among journalists and media professionals, OCIP strives to empower the Christian community, ensuring their voices are heard, and their narratives are represented in the broader media landscape.
