U člověka is a Czech association dedicated to living history, traditional crafts, and a closer connection with nature. Founded as a formally registered association in 2017, it grew from a group of friends who enjoyed exploring the past in the Beskydy countryside. In “Games and Toys of Long Ago,” participants discover traditional games and make toys such as hobby horses, dolls, and tournament windmills. “Craftsmen’s Lane” invites visitors to try tasks inspired by trades including pottery, baking, and leatherworking, while exploring natural materials and the history of guilds. “The Magic of Wool,” inspired by the association’s Beskydy roots, demonstrates the processing of sheep’s wool—from cleaning and combing to spinning, weaving, and felting.
