La Unión Cívica Radical (UCR) es un partido político de Argentina fundado el 26 de junio de 1891 por Leandro N. Alem. La UCR reúne grupos con diversas ideologías como el krausismo, el federalismo, el liberalismo, el nacionalismo, el desarrollismo y la socialdemocracia, entre otras. Se ha caracterizado por su ideología defensora del laicismo, de inspiración igualitarista, con raíces en el federalismo tradicional y el autonomismo alsinista, habiendo desempeñado un papel decisivo para la conquista del sufragio obligatorio y secreto masculino y la instalación de una democracia liberal en el país, a la vez de resultar ampliamente representativo de las clases medias argentinas durante el siglo xx.
