UCT International

UCT International is an internationally recognised school specialising in resilience and self-defence training. Its programmes combine physical skills with personal development, reflecting the organisation’s belief in a healthy mind in a healthy body. Through its classes, UCT aims to help students connect with one another, build confidence and learn practical ways to protect themselves. Training also addresses verbal conflict and the importance of avoiding a physical confrontation whenever possible.

The school offers a range of disciplines for different ages and interests. Jing Wu Kids introduces children to Kung Fu through a programme that goes beyond kicking and punching. Practical Wing Chun focuses on effective self-defence and preparation for threatening situations, while Brazilian Jiu Jitsu develops ground-fighting skills through technical, challenging classes. Escrima Concepts teaches defence against strikes and bladed weapons, and ACE provides weapons training. UCT also lists a Core Gym and corporate programmes among its offerings.
