About UDAPT
UDAPT is a brand dedicated to making a dignified, healthy, and pollution-free life a reality by repairing the damages caused by Texaco, now known as CHEVRON, in the Ecuadorian Amazon due to human rights violations caused by their oil operations. UDAPT works in collaboration with different communities and indigenous nationalities such as Waorani, Siekopai, Siona, A'I Kofan, Shuar, and Kichwa, as well as with farmers, to fight for justice and defend their territories. Through various projects and initiatives, UDAPT aims to provide safe water, promote health and cancer prevention, develop community gardens, facilitate community communication, and monitor environmental issues.
They also actively engage in the legal defense of the affected communities and raise awareness through educational programs and radio programs. UDAPT invites everyone to join their cause and be a part of the Union of Affected People by Texaco (UDAPT) and Friends of the Earth Ecuador.
