The United Empire Loyalists Association of Canada (Edmonton Branch) is a heritage organization dedicated to preserving the history of the United Empire Loyalists and sharing their contribution to Canadian heritage. The Loyalists were colonists who remained faithful to the Crown during the American Revolution and left their homes to settle in British North America. The Edmonton Branch highlights how their arrival influenced the development of Canada, including its laws, political institutions, boundaries, and distinct relationship with the United States.
The branch provides information about Loyalist history and legacy, alongside opportunities to connect with its community through membership and events. Its website also offers literature, newsletters, a Centennial Book, and organizational resources such as bylaws, business minutes, and forms. Visitors can contact branch representatives, including the president, vice-president, and genealogist, for inquiries related to its activities and heritage focus. Through these materials and initiatives, the Edmonton Branch supports public interest in the Loyalists and their enduring place in Canada’s story.
