University Foundation College (UFC) is Qatar’s premier institution for university foundation programmes, offering guaranteed progression to top ranking universities. Established in 2017, UFC is a private British college licensed by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Located near Aspire Zone in Doha, UFC features a modern campus with high quality facilities supporting both academic and personal growth.

UFC delivers the UK Foundation programme with progression to over 100 universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, and beyond. It also partners with selected universities in Qatar, giving students the choice to complete their degree locally. Pathways include Science and Medicine, Engineering, Business, Humanities, Art and Design, and Computing, helping students progress to undergraduate degrees in their chosen fields.

The International Year One (IYOne) is also offered at UFC. It is a university level qualification equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree, with pathways in Business Management and Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Students who successfully complete IYOne can progress directly to the second year at a wide range of NCUK partner universities.
