About UGEFA
UGEFA (Uganda Green Enterprise Finance Accelerator) is dedicated to driving a sustainable transition and creating green jobs by supporting green small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). They collaborate with financial institutions to develop and scale innovative products and services. UGEFA aims to enhance access to finance for green enterprises in Uganda by strengthening the sector and improving available financial mechanisms for SME debt financing.
They decrease the risk of financing change by co-creating funding facilitation mechanisms with financial institutions for green SMEs that have graduated from their acceleration program. UGEFA offers a comprehensive and finance-focused accelerator program to mentor and develop the business and financial skills needed for SMEs to access financing and expand their positive environmental impacts. Their team consists of experienced professionals in various enterprise support and communication roles.
