Uppsala Historiska Fäktskola (UHFS), or Uppsala Historical Fencing School, is a Swedish club dedicated to historical European martial arts (HEMA). Its training combines martial arts techniques, sparring and the study of historical source material. Members can explore a range of disciplines, including longsword, rapier and dagger, military sabre, sword and buckler, montante and wrestling.
The club welcomes beginners aged 15 and over and provides information about getting started, training schedules, fees and equipment. Regular sessions take place in Uppsala, with seasonal beginner trial events for people interested in trying historical fencing. UHFS also offers training sessions for occasions such as hen parties, stag parties and other events, and can arrange special sessions or demonstrations.
The school is affiliated with the Swedish HEMA Federation and the Swedish Budo and Martial Arts Federation. Alongside its classes, it shares articles and translations, organizes events and supports participation in competitions, including the Swedish HEMA Championships. Its community connects through social media and online channels, and some event content is available to watch by livestream
