Uitvaart Fryslân

Uitvaart Fryslân is a funeral service supporting families across Friesland, with local contacts serving areas including South-West and North-East Friesland. Its team—Anne Joosse, Baukje Engelsma, Clary Leegstra and Marie-Janne Beekman—offers attentive guidance and care after a death, helping families make choices for a personal and fitting farewell. The brand’s approach centres on listening, standing alongside families and being available when support is needed.

Services cover practical and personal aspects of arranging a funeral, including care of the deceased, viewing arrangements and planning the farewell itself. Families can choose a large gathering, an intimate ceremony or a green funeral. The team also provides dedicated options for children’s funerals and dementia-friendly farewells, alongside information about experiences, condolences and additional support. Before a death, people can discuss their wishes and plan ahead; after the funeral, aftercare is available. Uitvaart Fryslân serves many towns and communities, including Nes, Akkrum, Balk, Bolsward, Workum, Harlingen, Leeuwarden, Drachten, Sneek, Grou and Heerenveen. Its central promise is to offer compassionate, personal support through a difficult time.
