About Uganda Internet Exchange Point
The Uganda Internet Exchange Point (UIXP) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2001 by Charles Musisi, Badru Ntege, and Hope Mugaga, with support from the Uganda Communications Commission and the local technology community. Their mission is to enhance Internet connectivity within Uganda and the East African region. UIXP offers a range of services and pricing options to meet the connectivity needs of businesses and individuals.
They facilitate the exchange of Internet traffic between connected networks, ensuring faster and more reliable connections.
