UkraineNow

UkraineNow is a global, decentralized initiative helping Ukrainians and other communities respond to the humanitarian crisis and the consequences of Russia’s invasion. Launched on the first day of the war, it connects volunteers, companies, nonprofits, local organizations, and governments with urgent needs in Ukraine. Its early work included supporting rescue and evacuation efforts and delivering emergency supplies; its current focus is creating sustainable impact through technology, expertise, equipment, and funding.

UkraineNow helps nonprofits and public organizations access services such as software development, UI/UX design, data science, marketing, technology advice, software subscriptions, and physical equipment. It also connects them with skilled volunteers, corporate partners, fundraising support, and community networks. Featured initiatives have included technology infrastructure support, a messaging project for women in Ukraine, and an information platform connecting Ukrainian refugees with US hosts.

The initiative reports raising $945,904, delivering 863 tons of emergency supplies, launching 45 independent projects, and helping evacuate more than 10,000 people. UkraineNow is an initiative of Radical Philanthropies, an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
