Ukraine Power Resources

Ukraine Power Resources (UPR) is a U.S. company developing wind power projects in Ukraine, combining international wind-development expertise with more than two decades of local experience in Ukraine and the Central and Eastern European region. Its work focuses on creating reliable, sustainable clean energy in partnership with rural communities.

UPR has developed two wind projects in the Odesa region. The Dnistrovsky project, with a total capacity of 100 MW, was built in two phases; UPR has since fully exited the project. Its 158.6 MW Lymansky project is undergoing bank due diligence with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation and is being advanced under a corporate power purchase agreement framework.

The company’s services include wind-project development and coordination, alongside commercial, environmental, technical, and financing work. Corporate social responsibility is central to its approach: UPR consults local leaders and stakeholders on community programs and aims to limit environmental impacts. Past initiatives have included road improvements, renovations to community facilities, a village playground, and a public health program.
