About UKSLSS
The United Kingdom Singapore Law Students' Society (UKSLSS) is a student-run society that aims to represent the interests of Singaporeans studying law in the United Kingdom. Established in 1998 under the auspices of the Government of Singapore and Contact Singapore, UKSLSS also welcomes students of all nationalities who are interested in learning more about Singapore and its legal scene. Membership to UKSLSS is free, and registration can be done by signing up to their mailing list and following their social media channels (@theukslss).
In addition to organizing social and professional events to keep members connected with the legal scene back home while abroad, UKSLSS provides access to legal and career-related information from both countries. UKSLSS is composed of a dedicated Executive Committee, various sub-committees, sponsors, and a Board of Advisors, comprising students, lawyers, and academics. Students, academics, and members of the legal profession can also contribute articles, suggestions, and feedback to their annual journal, weekly legal updates, or website.
