UKS Orlica

UKS Orlica Duszniki-Zdrój is a youth sports club specializing in speed skating on inline skates and ice. Founded in 1998, the club welcomes children and young people from their first skating steps through competitive junior levels. Training is organized in groups matched by coaches, beginning with Speed Kids sessions focused on balance, braking, cornering and safe, enjoyable practice. More advanced athletes develop speed-skating technique on wheels and prepare for competitions across Poland. In winter, training moves to ice for long-track speed skating and short track, with sessions held in Náchod, Czechia.

The club’s home venue is a 200-metre asphalt skating track in Duszniki-Zdrój, featuring banked turns, timing technology and lighting for evening training. Orlica also hosts national-level events, including Polish championships and Polish Speed Skating Association competitions. Its athletes have achieved international success, including junior world championship medals and Youth Olympic honours. With around 100 athletes across five groups, UKS Orlica combines accessible youth coaching, structured competition pathways and a strong record in skating.
