About ULAB University
ULAB University is a private liberal arts-based institution located in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in February 2002, it received permission to open from the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh in November 2003. With a strong emphasis on the values of Liberal Arts and Sustainability, ULAB offers a range of academic programs through its various departments including English and Humanities, Media Studies and Journalism, Business Administration, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
ULAB also offers a General Education Program (GED) that focuses on fulfilling the liberal arts curriculum. The university is committed to research and provides numerous research opportunities for both students and faculty members. Additionally, ULAB has ten research centers devoted to conducting research, organizing workshops and conferences, promoting knowledge creation, and advocating best practices.
