ULF

The United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ULF), based in DeKalb, Illinois, is a dedicated nonprofit organization established in 1982 to support the leukodystrophy community. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life for patients and their families affected by leukodystrophies—genetic disorders that impact the nervous system's myelin sheath. ULF provides crucial information about these conditions and assists in accessing medical care, social services, and genetic counseling.
