Ultima Antarctic Logistics, formerly known as Antarctic Logistics Centre International (ALCI), has provided Antarctic logistics since 2001, using Cape Town, South Africa, as a gateway to the continent. The company serves national Antarctic programmes and scientific expeditions, particularly in the Dronning Maud Land Air Network Project area, with a broad range of coordinated, end-to-end services.

Its operations include intercontinental flights between Cape Town and Antarctica during the summer season, domestic flights between stations and remote field sites, and cargo transport for supplies, equipment and materials. Ultima also provides Antarctic fuel air-drops, aviation and other fuel products, fuel handling and bunkering services, and support for overland traverses using tracked vehicles and sleds. The company also coordinates search-and-rescue support and maintains safety and medical procedures for remote operations.

Its aircraft include Ilyushin 76, Boeing and Gulfstream models, plus Basler Turbo 67 and Twin Otter planes for flights within Antarctica.
