Ultra Trail Events, operated by Climb South West, organises trail running and walking challenges across the UK. Its events range from 8. 5 to 112 miles, welcoming both runners and walkers, whether they want to test themselves, enjoy an adventure or raise funds for charity.
The programme includes the Devon Coast to Coast Ultra Marathon, Jurassic Extinction and Jurassic Coast 100, North Coast 110 and Exmoor Coast Ultra, as well as events on Dartmoor and challenges in Wales, including the Welsh 3000 Challenge and Paddy Buckley Round. Other options include half and third marathons, a six-hour race and shorter trail challenges. The events are presented as personal achievements in which finishing is worth celebrating, rather than simply competing for a race result.
Participants who complete the Devon Coast to Coast Ultra, Jurassic Extinction and North Coast 110 can qualify for the South West Trident Club, a 327-mile, three-event challenge. Climb South West also offers a running club and provides event information and support to people considering longer distances
